A fun, community event for all

We want to ensure everyone can enjoy the Mayor's Carnival Parade and Family Fun Day. It is important to us that those planning to attend are aware of the following provisions:

For the Family Fun Day in Wallace Park it will be assistance dogs only and there will be a quiet space for those who may need some time out. It is located at the tennis pavilion. There will also be a sensory bus at the event.

We will also have an Accessaloo onsite in Wallace Park for anyone needing accessible toilet and changing facilities.
A sign language interpreter will be on stage in Market Square during the Carnival Parade to allow those with a hearing impairment to follow the MC who will be in Market Square advising on the groups within the parade. We also have a quiet space on the first floor of the Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum.

There will also be a sign language interpreter at the stage area in Wallace Park.

If you have any other accessibility requirements or questions, please let us know by emailing
